The basic rules for using Artiful, its daily games, artwork stories, gallery, subscriptions, and website.
Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using Artiful, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
Using Artiful
Artiful gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for private and lawful purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer protected parts of the app where prohibited by law, bypass access controls, or use Artiful to infringe another person's rights.
Daily content and progress
Daily challenges, available artwork, game types, rewards, and gallery features may change over time. Local progress can be lost if you delete the app, erase device data, or move to another device without an available transfer or backup method.
Subscriptions and purchases
Paid features are purchased through Apple's App Store. Prices, trial availability, billing periods, taxes, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the terms shown in the App Store and your Apple account settings.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple before the renewal date. Deleting Artiful does not cancel an active subscription. You can restore eligible purchases from within the app.
Artwork and content rights
Many artworks shown in Artiful are in the public domain. Museum photography, metadata, editorial writing, software, layout, branding, and other materials may remain protected by copyright, trademark, database rights, or provider terms. Artiful does not grant you ownership of third-party artwork or source material.
You may use the app for personal viewing and play. Republishing the app's editorial content, packaged media, or interface as a competing collection is not permitted without authorization.
Availability
We aim to keep Artiful available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted access or that every artwork record will be complete or error-free. Features may be updated, suspended, or removed when needed for product, legal, licensing, or security reasons.
Educational purpose
Artwork descriptions and games are provided for general discovery and entertainment. They are not a substitute for scholarly, conservation, provenance, valuation, or legal advice.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Artiful is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We disclaim warranties that cannot be reasonably provided for a consumer app. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the app where such limitations are permitted.
Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms as Artiful evolves. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this website when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
